Our training puts the individual trainee right at the heart of the programme. We build the course around you, your needs, confidence and experience. We recognise that not all trainees will have the same level of experience and so carefully tailor your experience to meet your needs. This is done via the expertise of your mentor and the gradual increase in teaching responsibilities to fulfil the course requirements.
We develop highly effective teachers that have the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to make a difference. You could be one of them.
We offer a comprehensive 12-month program combining:
- Weekly in-school experience
- Setting-based experience in two contrasting guaranteed placements
- Weekly training sessions with the Kingsbridge team or subject specialists
- 1:1 mentor support
- Intensive Training and Practice designed to provide concentrated, hands-on experience and skill development in a real classroom setting
- Access to the PGCE delivered by Bath Spa University
